Four months ago, the in-real-life events industry stopped overnight, and online events boomed. Businesses and brands who had never hosted virtual events quickly pivoted and moved their events online.
We have worked with brands such a Marketer Moments, Five Year Finance and even hosted our own virtual webinar’s to bring events online and we’re delighted to announce that we have been appointed by Chevening for our biggest virtual event yet.
‘The class of 2019 farewell virtual event’.
Chevening’s is an international scholarship and fellowship programme for international students to come and study in London.
In August, they would normally have a large event in London with over 2000 students to celebrate the year, network and to plan and prepare for the next stage of their international career.
The class of 2019 cannot be together this year and the majority of students have already returned home pre-lockdown. So the scholars and fellows are not going to do an in-real-life-event.
We’ve been appointed to create a virtual farewell festival like no other.
Taking our years of experience in both events and digital, we have combined our skills to create a virtual experience that will be enjoyed for days and remembered for years to come.
This exceptional brief has some interesting challenges with over 2000 students across the world in 6 different timezones.
Live entertainment from world-class performs and keynotes from international ministers.
We are creating an online platform that will host this virtual festival for a week so that all students can come in and have a live experience and then see what their fellow alumni are now up to on the other side of the world.
We’re so excited for the project and shall report back in August with a video and a blog to tell you all about it.
